I always take the MRT to home on weekends. The MRT is a very important conveyance for me. By taking the MRT, I can go many places quickly. It is really convenience for the people who live in the Taipei city. They do not have to find a parking space in this crowd city. The speed of MRT is pretty fast, and we do have to waste time to wait for the traffic lights. I prefer to taking the MRT because of this reasons.

Advantages of Living in a Dormitory

As a freshman, I choose to live in the dormitory because there are many benefits of living in a dormitory. When it comes to the advantages of living in a dormitory, there are lots of thoughts come into my mind. The dormitory for freshmen at CGU is so beautiful and neat that most of the students like it very much. Four of the main advantages attract me to decide to live in the school.
The first advantage is that I can improve the relationship between my classmates and roommates. Because there is lots of time for us to get along with each other, this would be a shortcut to let us know other people better. We could chat together all the time and see a movie till we feel tired. Besides, we could listen to the music that we like and sing all of our favorite songs loudly and happily. There so many things that I can do with my friends and roommates after school in the dormitory. Therefore, I would definitely say that living in a dormitory is a perfect way to improve the relationship between my classmates and me.
The second advantage is that this is a good way to train my EQ and become an independent person. When I live in a dormitory, I have to learn to deal with lots of things by myself. I deeply believe that it would be a great way to train myself so I would do my best to handle it. Besides, I want to train my EQ and do not get mad easily. For example, when I live home, my parents always take care of me carefully all the time. They still care about and protect me even though I am angry with them. However, it is not the same situation when I live in a dormitory with my roommates. I should hold back my anger when I feel upset or angry. Get training and face my drawbacks. I truly wish I could become an independent person and have high-level EQ.
The third advantage is that I could take part in some activities and join some clubs after school and do not have to go home in hurry. There are many activities and clubs I would like to participate in. For example, there are some English reading clubs, production appeared of many clubs and lots of speeches. If I cannot join them, that would be a great pity for me. Accordingly, I decide to stay at school instead of leaving school for home quickly. This is a good chance for me to attend many activities and clubs.
The last advantage is that I could discuss all kinds of homework with my roommates when I have some problems. This is really helpful and useful for me when I am doing my homework or studying for some examinations. For instance, when I do the online homework of physics, I often feel confused about the meaning of problems. As I was too confused to solve these problems, I would turn to my roommates for help. With my roommates and classmates’ helping and teaching, I could solve most of the problems immediately. Discussing homework with them is a great and important advantage for me.
To sum up, there are lots of advantages of living in a dormitory. I would choose to live in a dormitory because of these great and down-to-earth reasons. I wish I could improve the relationship with my classmates and discuss homework with them happily. I also hope that I would become an independent person. Through joining many activities, I will try my best to learn more from that. Last but not least, I really enjoy the life I live in the dormitory in CGU.

Today is the Christmas day. It’s very cold outside, but Lucy and I still go to the Chang Gung memorial hospital by taking school bus. We went to Starbucks to celebrate the Christmas day. I remember the cheese cake is Lucy’s favorite, so I brought one for her. I also brought a delicious chocolate cake for myself. We had a great time tonight!! It is really cold outside, but it is indeed warm in our hearts.

Every time I chat with one of my best, Jenny, she always gives me great suggestions. I felt upset this week, because there are too many things that I cannot handle them. For example, there is homework about writing a c++ program. Although CSIE is my major, I still not very good at writing a program. It is really make me feel down. “Practice make perfect,” Jenny said. When I heard this proverb, I was encouraged deeply. Thank you! Jenny! I would do my best to conquer all of the difficulties. You let me know that you would always be there and support me. :D

I really had a fun time today thought I was very tired. Today I went to the Taipei Zoo with the members of CGMHUV. I was very happy to meet these friendly people and volunteer with them. Introduction: Talk about the reason why I live in a dormitory. There are three advantages of living in a dormitory.

a. improve the relationship of my classmate

c. take part in some activities
d. discuss some homework with my roommates
e. join some clubs
Conclusion: There are so many advantages of living in a dormitory; therefore I would like to choose to live in a dormitory during the period of college.

Grandmother... ... I miss you so much > ︿ < 。。

When I was a child, I like to eat egg cakes very much. My grandmother often bought two bags of egg cakes for my cousin and me after school. The egg cakes looked very cute and tasted delicious. The egg cakes were like great gifts for us every time when we held a bag of egg cakes. We always ate them happily. It was a sweet memory for us! I bought a bag of egg cakes for myself today. However, I did not eat them with happiness but with sadness. As I ate them I remember the kindness of my grandmother. She passed away two years ago that was really a great sorrow for me. T_T
I love her so mush that I miss her all the time. Although, the sweet memory has become the bitter memory, it was still an important memory for me.
Dear grandmother:
I love you so much beyond expression. Thank you for loving me and taking care of me all the time. Although, I could not see you anymore, I knew that you did not leave us. You would always live in my mind. I love you deeply. I miss you deeply.

This is a heart-touching song for me. Recently, I often felt tired because there were lots of homework, reports and examination waiting for me to handle them. I was really upset about these things until my friend sent this song for me and encouraged me through MSN. He made me get up courage again. I listened to this song again and again. A new day has come!! I felt that I had a strong power to face lots of difficulties. CONGRATULATION！！！"Kai Kai" is discharged from the hospital！

"Kai Kai" is discharged from the hospital！ He is a lovely boy. I met him in the CGMH on last weekend. Kai-kai and Rong-ruo played lots of games with me happily. We had a fun time together!! ：)　
Today, I went to be a volunteer again as usual. Rong-ruo told me that Kai-kai’s health became much better so he could be discharged from the hospital. When I heard that, I was really happy. ：D I hope all of the sick children could have a peace time in the hospital and be recovered to health quickly.

Today is a sunny day. The sky is very blue and beautiful. I went to Chang Gung Memorial Hospital to volunteer for some children who got cancer. They were so active that I almost forget their sorrowful situation. T_T
This is the fifth times that I volunteers for cgmhuv* on weekends. I am very happy that I can join the big family about doing something for the children in the hospital.
My main volunteer work is to take care of the children who got cancer. These children are hospitalized on the sixth floor of the children’s building in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. There is a sweet room for these cute children to play lots of computer games, draw some cartoonish pictures, play bowling with us or anything can make them have a fun time with us. During they are playing with us, their parents can have some free time and take a break. They could read some novels or magazines in this room. Besides, they could take a nap or go out to eat something. All we have to do is to accompany these adorable children. ^_^
Sometimes, it was very tired to accompany these children because some of them were very active beyond our imagination. But most of the time they were very cute and clever. Therefore, I could always have a great and sweet time with them. The most important thing is that they always raise me up and make me become stronger. They live happily everyday though they have to face many difficulties and bear pain. Without a doubt, they would always be the beautiful angels in my heart. I really hope that all of these children could be recovered to health. I love all of them deeply. ：）

＊ A Fruitful Night ＊

This week, I finally realized how poor I did in the mid-term examination of physics. The grade was so terrible that I wanted to cry when I got the test paper. What should I do? What should I do? What should I do? I can’t face the difficulty until my friend put forward a perfect suggestion. Let’s go to the library and study hard together! The suggester’s nickname is “Little Black” whose English name is Lucy. Then we discussed the details about this thing. This night, Lucy and I carried out this plan. We went to the library after dinner. It’s great to study with friends. We discuss with each other when we have some problems in text book. How wonderful this night it was! We studied hard till 22:30 just before the library closed. Afterward we decided to go to the college of management where could see a beautiful view at night on ninth floor. Wow! What a fine view it is!! However, we could only see few stars because the sky was covered with dark clouds. That’s O.K.! We would go there again and again until the sweet stars show up. ^^ ~* It was a very fruitful, pleasant and romantic night.

[Reflections] My Big Fat Greek Wedding*Toula

Today, I try to do my best to talk something about Toula. Toula is a Greek-American woman, who falls in love with a non-Greek American, Ian Miller.
Toula is thirty years old. However, she has not married a Greek and had any Greek baby yet. Therefore, she is the only woman in her family who has "failed" in Greek terms. Toula run a restaurant, "Dancing Zorba's", for her family’s business. Nevertheless, she is very unhappy everyday at her family’s restaurant until she meets her Mr. Right, Ian Miller. She encounters Ian Miller, a school teacher, at her family’s restaurant. With her mom’s help, she get her father’s agreement to go to college for learning computer science. Then she becomes more and more beautiful and abandons her awful eyeglasses for contact lenses. Besides, she tries to wear makeup and attractive dresses. After she graduates from the college, she gets her father’s allow to work for the travel agency. Therefore, Toula can leave the restaurant and her big fat family for a while.
One day, she meets Ian Miller again. They fall in love with each other quickly and want to get marry soon. However, there still have many problems about the difference between their culture and family. Although, they have to face many problems, they are still brave enough to conquest all of problems. Love can conquest every things. Finally, they get both of their parents’ agreement. Then they get marry happily and live wonderfully ever after.

Today is my best friend’s birthday. She is my junior high school’s classmate who is very brilliant and beautiful. Both of us like painting and singing, so we often do these things together happily.Chatting with each other is also our favorite activity. We shared all things together including exciting things and sad things. It is said that,” A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.” She took care of me and made me smile all the time. She is so sweet and kind that I like her deeply. I believed that we will always have a great friendship forever. Now I want to say “Happy Birthday” to her loudly.

Yesterday, I ate a delicious apple for my dinner. My best friend send me a very funny video which was download from youtube. It's so funny that I couldn't stop laughting.The video is about two man who sing with the music,and their faces are so strange!I decide to send it to the other friends. Not only this video I want to send, but also a letter. The friend which I want to send to is Amy. Because I think she need something to relax. Because sheis under a lot of stress. There are several different things or me everyday, and I always care about everything. But it is not so bad when I receive other people help. I love that!
